Leadership Giving Levels

Valley Christian Schools is grateful to those who give their time, talent, and treasure to advance our mission. We recognize and thank our supporters through community recognition in our Annual Giving Report. All those who donate over $1,000 will be recognized in our Leadership Circle. Furthermore, all those who donate over $2,500 are invited to special events throughout the year.

Lifetime Giving

1. DAVID AND EDIE WALLACE FOUNDERS’ COUNCIL
Membership in the David and Edie Wallace Founders’ Council is awarded to those whose lifetime contributions total $200,000 or more.

2. DR. CLIFFORD E. DAUGHERTY QUEST FOR EXCELLENCE SOCIETY
Membership in the Dr. Clifford E. Daugherty Quest for Excellence Society is awarded to those whose lifetime contributions total $50,000 to $199,999.

Annual Giving

1. LEGACY
Legacy Membership is awarded to those whose gifts total $25,000 or more during the fiscal year.

2. DIAMOND 
Diamond Membership is awarded to those whose gifts total $10,000 to $24,999 during the fiscal year.

3. PLATINUM
Platinum Membership is awarded to those whose gifts total $5,000 to $9,999 during the fiscal year.

4. GOLD 
Gold Membership is awarded to those whose gifts total $2,500 to $4,999 during the fiscal year.

5. SILVER 
Silver Membership is awarded to those whose gifts total $1,000 to $2,499 during the fiscal year.

The Warrior Fund

Valley Christian Schools employs the Independent School Financial Model similar to many of our Bay Area private school counterparts. This model understands that tuition dollars alone cannot support the breadth and quality of curriculum, activities, and facilities in the Bay Area’s stellar private schools. 

Gifts to the WARRIOR FUND are used during the year in which they are received. Broad support of the WARRIOR FUND is the most crucial part of VCS’ fundraising initiatives, and these gifts have the most direct and immediate impact on the school. 

Widespread participation in the WARRIOR FUND is vital to Valley Christian Schools’ success. Gifts to the WARRIOR FUND are used to increase the general operating budget and ensure the most pressing needs of Valley Christian Schools are met. The Executive Leadership Team is committed to being good stewards of your generous contributions by providing excellent opportunities throughout our multifaceted campuses and programs.

It is the WARRIOR FUND that ensures the Quest for Excellence through the following:

Annually, we strive to have all of our current families participate in the WARRIOR FUND. EVERY penny makes a difference! No gift is too small. No gift is too big. We ask every family to join our WARRIOR CLUB community in support of our students. Most importantly, we want to build a community of support that encourages gifts of time, talent, and treasure. We all have something to give and can make an impact. Please consider how you can support our students with your financial support, talents, and time this year. Achieving 100% participation is our goal, as it enables Valley Christian Schools to seek additional funding from foundations and alumni via grants and other opportunities in which participation by current families is a key factor for selection.
